Well, even though I didn't think I'd really making this blog, it was pretty fun. I was expecting some crazy assignments and something I would definitely NOT like :b Maybe I'll be making my own blog to just ramble and keep as my own little journal!
What advice would I offer people writing a research paper?
Well, DON'T be a chelsea! Haha :) My advice is to think of your topic as soon as you learn about the requirements for your paper and ask the teacher if it is a good idea. Then start researching ASAP, even if its just a little bit at a time. That is the main concern you should worry about before anything. Without out an approved topic and a little research, the assignments required throughout the weeks will come by quicker than you think and you'll be very unprepared! Take notes, LISTEN to your professor and answer some of your questions on your own! These classrooms have final paper requirements under the course home that can answer almost any question you have :) I wait until last minute to write my ACTUAL paper, not do the research, but construct the paper. It usually drives me nuts, but I always get it done. I don't advise other people to take this approach, because it isn't the smartest! I say do a little at a time and take breaks often, soon enough your paper will be done before it is even due and you won't have even been stressed because you worked on it over a period of time, rather than a period of a DAY!
(Also, make an outline. I ALWAYS struggled with outlines, but once I had to start making them to turn in for a grade, I found they really help. It is almost like your paper is done, you just have to add more details to the points you made. I love outlines and I love that my paper (or just my draft) gets done quickly and stress free!)
Finally, I wanted to thank all of you for making class more interesting! We've had some good conversations and "jam" sessions before class and we've made it through the whole term together :D I admit, some of it was a hassle, but I know I made it out alive! I wish all of you luck and thank you so much, Professor, for everything!

A little unsure?
Holy final paper!
I have been super busy lately, mainly with my grandfather being in the hospital and having to run over there like every day. So, last week when I wanted to work on my final and hopefully have it done by today, definitely did not happen. I was very excited that I had the energy to work on my paper, then instantly got disappointed when I couldn't.
Today, I finally have the time and of course I don't feel good, but I absolutely have to do work on it! Between tomorrow night and Monday afternoon I have NO time to do anything dealing with school. So, I'm kind of nervous about how this paper will turn out since I really haven't given myself a lot of time to really work on it, well, I should say that these family issues have definitely taken a toll on my time. I know once it is done I will feel accomplished and more than likely be very pleased with it, but I just don't feel good enough to work on it right now. Maybe after some excedrine migrane and a bite to eat, I'll be good to go!
Really though, good luck to everybody! This is a big deal and I hope you all do VERY well :)

To continue or not to continue, that is the question :)
We're almost done, everybody! Time has definitely been moving fast.
Well, am I going to continue my blog after this term is over? I don't think that I would. I struggle to remember to post to it now, let alone post to it on my own time! Haha, I'm afraid weeks would go by before I remembered to write something. However, I do really like posting on this blog, even though I didn't think I would get into it. I like having a place to just write down whatever is on my mind and I don't have to make sure I have a credible source to go along with my information.
On a side note, I still cannot believe tomorrow's Unit is our last seminar! When the new terms start, it always seems like time could not possibly go any slower. Then after Unit 5, the weeks just fly! I really have enjoyed both classes this term and I am excited to be moving on, as well. I'm pleased with my grades, with my understanding of the material and I'm hoping that my family is, as well :)
